Term Limits

Leaders who have been fruitful and faithful in the private sector are encouraged to serve their country in a term limited governmental role. Term limits serve the leader in that they soon return to the private sector to continue to prosper. Term limits also serve the whole of the people in that it restricts a group of people who vote in a politian to serve them alone and not the whole constitution.

There are too many corrupt politicians and those who empower them to stay. I believe term limits are the only way to deal with such a people.

In the kingdom of God a person’s limit is as long or as short as the fruit of their righteousness. Term limits are for a people who neglect their responsibility to keep the elected accountable to righteous principles. Instead, laws are created to limit with no review as to their integrity or performance. A person who walks humbly before God and loves justice should have no term limit.

Scripture

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. - Ephesians 6:10-13 NASU

Scripture

"Many nations will join themselves to the Lord in that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. - Zechariah 2:11 NASU

Scripture

"But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.  "All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;  and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left. - Matthew 25:31-33  NASU
